Operating through COVID-19

There are a number of requirements for businesses as a result of COVID-19. The nsw.gov.au website is continuously being updated and represents the best source of information for businesses to get guidance on.

Download a Covid Safety Plan for your business

The plans set out what businesses and organisations need to do to fulfil their obligations under public health orders and minimise risk of transmission of COVID-19 on their premises.

Complete the relevant COVID-19 Safety Plan for your industry. You need to keep a copy of your plan and provide it when asked to an authorised person.

Set up a QR code for your business

From 12 July 2021, more businesses and organisations will need a NSW Government QR code so that staff and customers can check in using the Service NSW app.

Set up your QR code here: https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/covid-safe/customer-record-keeping/setting-up-electronic-check-and-qr-codes

Keep in mind, you will need to have a Covid Safety Plan in place prior to setting up your QR Code.

Local Manufacturers of PPE and Hand Sanitiser

The Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre (AMGC) developed the COVID-19 Manufacturer Response Register to help Australian businesses identify collaboration and market opportunities in order to supply protective, medical or critical care equipment in response to the COVID-19 crisis. The Register is an interactive platform that allows manufacturers, suppliers and customers to generate a profile outlining their capabilities and at the same time offer a demand search feature to source essential goods or service.

Please contact us on the Central Coast Economy Facebook page if you are having trouble sourcing PPE to reopen.
